Srenik's Personal Home Page

Welcome!! My name is Srenik Mehta. I am a graduate student researcher working under the supervision of Professor Paul Gray at the University of California at Berkeley. I am currently working on the design and layout of CMOS RF circuits for frequency synthesis. In particular, my Master's project focus is on high speed frequency counters for synthesis. A fixed frequency divider operating at 1.8GHz and a programmable divider at 1GHz have been designed. In addition, I have worked on implementing a phase-interpolation technique for fractional-N frequency synthesis, that provides finer channel spacings while maintaining a high PLL loop bandwidth. The primary graduate student working on the frequency synthesis project is Todd Weigandt.
